What’s the story with these groups of cars that are always towing vehicles ( usually 2 being towed ) westbound.
Where are they towing from and where are they going? Why the long distance?
i'm right off I40 near nashville and the truck stop there are ALWAYS 3 or 4 groups of these '3 car disasters'. the only driveable one is the one in front towing the other 2.

half the time i stop for gas, at least one of these trains has broken and they're trying to fix the lead car, adding oil, trying to repair an axle...

i asked one time and the guy replied 'we bring them to mexico to fix and sell for a huge profit'

moral to the story: don't buy a used car from mexico
