Is there a reason why you can only buy standing room only tickets right now? Can't imagine every seat is sold out for the season in the first five minutes

Attendance this year is going to be huge this season. LSU fans are hungry, it’s been too long. The preseason hype for this team is off the charts. Got some huge SEC home series this year. Can’t imagine how wild Tennessee is going to be.

Yep. That’s how it goes unfortunately with LSU baseball. I did the 10 game plan and the only games where I had no choice but to get SRO, are the Friday night and Saturday UT games. The other 8 games I was able to get seats for.

Purchased 6 sets of tickets between 9am-9:15am. Got W. Mich - Section 201 x2, TN - SRO, Kent - Section 223, Bama - Outfield, and MS St - Outfield.

when I looked yesterday most SEC games only had a few sections like 101 and 201 left and some games for SEC only had SRO left.
LSU baseball always sells a ton of season tickets and this year with the expectations and talent on this team I am certain there was even more demand.

Funny thing is that they had some TN accounts on Twitter yesterday trying to let TN fans know that LSU's individual game sales were happening today and for them to go and buy up all the tickets in order to "turn the stadium orange".

Season tickets holders have the seats locked up and had the priority on purchasing single game tickets. After that, not much of anything left.
