It won't do anything. Unless he is the one who realizes he has a problem and needs help, you'll be wasting your oxygen. If this sounds cruel, then sorry. I'm being realistic, not trying to pump you up with sunshine and lollipops.
I knew someone who was prescribed 60mg a day and she took so much of it that she had to go buy more from a friend halfway through the month. She had a serious problem and got extremely agitated when someone tried mentioning it to her. Eventually, we all said frick it and realized she has no interest in getting help or even acknowledging a problem.
