Speed Queen will be my next purchase. Currently have 31 year old Maytag washer and dryer but they are not built the same now so I am going SQ next major repair (already been told that transmissions for the WM are no longer available if this one breaks).
If electronic controls worry you, buy the TC5/DC5 as suggested by another poster. I will be going with the TR7/DR7 personally. $100 more per unit with 2 extra years of warranty (7 years vs 5 years).
