Had one for 2 years. He was smart but very strange. Also had horrible skin allergies. Tried foods, shots, meds. Nothing seemed to work. The vet ended up taking him and sending him to some place that specialized in rehabbing animals like that. She suspected it was from inbreeding. He also ate my drywall. Through the paint.

When I was very young, a very rich friend of my Grandmother had a pair (one white and one black). She lived in an apartment with expensive rungs and furniture and two cute and really well behaved dogs that didn't want to play with this stranger who was about five years old. To me they were really memorable neat smallish dogs.

Yes. I have a West Highland White Terrier which is super similar, and her skin is a constant nightmare to deal with.
