When I got married years ago, my wife and I wanted to add 2 puppies to our family of 2 daughters. We got an English Bulldog and a Miniature Schnauzer. I had to re-home the Bulldog due to my 5yr old’s allergies. I had the mini-schnauzer for a decade and have only had mini-schnauzer’s since.
Julius was 20lbs, didn’t shed and was very smart. Loved to ride the 4-wheeler, and was content going on a miles long walk or watching tv. Very loyal, just wanted to always be with the family. Small kids would pull his ears, didn’t mind a bit.
