Here's my take on meetings and cute little sayings used by speakers to motivate:

We have all frequently heard the story that in the Chinese language, the word for "problem" is the same word they use for "opportunity." So, any time you see a problem arise you should consider it an opportunity.

I say that's fair enough, but the reciprocal must then be true also. So, any time someone in upper management tells me that we have a great opportunity, All I understand from them is that we have a huge f***ing problem. (And, more than likely, it's their fault.)
