"Eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear"..."many called, but few are chosen", MIT. Not all can see, and note that GOD says "behold, I give them the "spirit of blindness...". Now why would God do that? Predestination, as it were, with a serious spiritual handicap. There is only one logical answer, and most can not "receive" it. Just like when Jesus told the Disciples that John the Baptist "WAS Elias, who was for to come", but they knew him not". "Let him that can receive this saying, receive it".

That we are here, but that we "reaped whereupon another has sewn", is the likely and only Just answer, IMO. I point this out to acquaintances all the time, but most all reject it. Almost like there is some kind of innate reversion to the idea that 'they' will live again (as another 'person') and be rewarded according to their works/beliefs in this current life.

Jesus said "he that seeks to save his SELF, shall lose it". I view my 'self' as the car I used to drive 50 years ago...great car, great ride, but on to the new and better version. Thanks to mercy of the Good Lord. It is these kinds of 'ideas' that the fight for truth encompasses.

Belief matters, big time. It sets the perceptive lens foundation for everything. Note that both 'Sides' trumpet Love, and what that means toward societal action. How absolutely ironic it will be that Love will be the basis for the coming transformational fight. Mind-blowing!
