Doesnt have to do with popularity. Trump is just trying what worked in 2014-15. It's really that simple but you all read more into it like Trump is desperate. You guys asked and I answered. Sorry you don't like the answer.

No. He’s saying Ron is his biggest competition so he has to go after him. That’s politics and campaigning.
