On the first interception (1st quarter, the one Byrd deflected), did anyone else notice how WIDE OPEN Richard Dickson was on that play??? He was lined up in the slot and ran completely uncovered, would've been a 50 yard gain...minimum.

And he hit Byrd. If Byrd catches the ball, you're not posting this.

maybe not, but even if Byrd catches that ball, it's a gain on 7 yards on 3rd and 17. Awesome risk-reward on that one.

I thought the same thing until I watched the replay. The safety didn't drop off until he saw the ball in the air to Byrd.

Anyone see byrd wide open in the EZ on the roll out in OT?

The real question is...could any of us see Dickson or Byrd running open if we were the QB? The answer is a resounding no.

It's pointless to go through every wide open reciever in this game. After the first few drives bama knew to just watch where lee was looking and collapse in on it. They knew on those roll outs, there was no way lee would stop turn and look in the other direction for an open reciever.
