DeSantis was backing Dhillon. A Dhillon win would tag Trump with "another" loser, and as responsible for the mid-term disaster. It would have closed the poll 5-10 more points.
Instead, Trump will move toward spring maintaining a commanding lead over BDR.

So we went from Trump being MAGA, to Trump being “I’ll support whoever might win, regardless of how swampy that person is.”
This right here should tell you everything about Trump fanaticism. frick the swamp. frick the establishment. frick the power apparatus. How about, let’s do what is good for America. This isn’t America first, this is “play it safe so media doesn’t attack us.” Some of you have forgotten what we stand for because you’re obsessed with 1 politician. That’s what democrats do.
