If HAAS really wants to make inroads in the States, they need a winning American driver, such as touchedtheaxein82, Herta, or Kirkwood.

Herta is vastly overrated.

Oh I just found out that on Virgin Galactic Flight 03 this morning, one of the passengers was none other than Adrian Reynard.
cbsnews.com/news/virgin-galactic-launches-third-suborbital-space-tourist-flight/
Reynard produced the dominant mid/late 90s IndyCar chassis during the heyday of CART.
Later Reynard and Craig Pollock partnered with British American Tobacco to buy the assets of Tyrell and form the BAR F1 team, which later became Honda, then Brawn, then Mercedes.
On his web site, Reynard says that he was the very first person to sign up as an astronaut with Virgin Galactic in 2004. A former boss of mine also was one of the 'founders', the first 100 people to sign up. He purchased four tickets in 2004 and now it's 19 years later. I need to ask him if his flight is scheduled yet. I will go down to New Mexico and watch his flight.
