Gross. They aren't even an equipment manufacturer. They really weren't even back in the day when their stuff was actually good quality. I still have some of the built by Shimano and Ryobi, but the latest iteration is simply a marketing company.

Yeah, they’re not horrible at the price point but they have zero innovation and just spec stuff out to Taiwan or China. Product line is absurdly overcrowded with minimal differences; reminds me of the mattress industry.

I was given one as a gift and it’s fine, but I wouldn’t spend my money on one.

whoa...guess I'll go myself...

I have one several years old that has held up very well I use for drop shoting...
smooth drag and I've caught some nice bass and some monster choupique on it...
