I would suggest going to a comedy show. The Comedy Cellar is super popular and have pretty good comedians there everynight. Colin Quinn performed while i was there. Tickets are like $20 plus they ask that each person spends $25 on drink/food. We went, bought a few drinks, and had a great time.
Joe's pizza is the best. Carbone is a really cool experience if you can get a reservation. Have to book 30 days out on the website. If youve never been to the Met, I'd go.
The Belfry is a really cool bar. The bowery hotel bar is awesome too.
