On my off work days, I generally do most of the chores around the house as I’m working out. Like between sets I can easily do laundry, wash dishes, dust/vacuum the house, meal prep for future days or cook for the entire family that night.
Production breeds more production! Ever notice on the days it seems like you have the most to do, you end of getting even way more shite done? It’s like being productive is contagious, and the flip side of that coin is the less you do, it’s mind blowingly easier to let the entire day go by without doing shite, then at the end of the day you’re saying, “man how did 12 hours go by and all I did was nap and watch movies?” Which also leads to depression, ESPECIALLY for me.
But while you’re working out, it’s crazy how much you can multitask and get done in the 2-3 minutes between each set, and it’s like an active rest. You’re still moving, flowing, heart is beating etc. but not exactly wearing yourself out before the next set.
During a 2 hour workout, I can pretty much also knock out every single thing that my wife is gonna come home and be stressed out about cuz she feels like she needs to do it, so you also get kudos/happy wife/happy life on top of that pump!
I know, it’s not exactly ground breaking stuff, but it’s simple and effective and ultimately leads to wayyyy more happiness and less stress in your life.

Bake chicken that’s always juicy and never dry.
Season your chicken then put it in the oven. Turn the oven on and set the temp to 425 and the timer to 24 minutes. Juicy baked chicken every time.

16 ounce Reditainers. Perfect for freezing individual servings of gumbo, stew, soup, etoufee, spaghetti, etc.
Get home at night and cook a little rice or noodles for quick meals.
Amazon Reditainers
Get a large commercial size box of aluminum foil instead small boxes that tend to become 8 almost empty boxes piled up on the shelf. The 500' or 1,000' lasts forever, has heavy duty cutting strip and does not clutter shelves.
Amazon 18"x500' aluminum foil
Cereal storage containers. Especially if you have kids. Keeps cereal fresh longer without fighting with closing the bags. Easy to see how much is remaining. Easy for kids to handle.
