I hope that the teacher’s health is on the mend and that the scars on her body completely heal .
Her mind will take longer to heal. It will be something that will never heal completely.
I pray that the school system is prepared to award her a 40 years of service pension and pay all of her medical bills in addition to mental counseling.

Now to junior . How in the Hell did he get it in his mind that it was ok to shoot his teacher?
Where ever he goes in that community he will be known as the person who shot his teacher.
What if she died from his gunshot ?
This is tragic for all .

The kid had severe mental issues that were well known long ago. There was an agreement in place that a parent MUST be with the child at school and that agreement was honored up until the week of the shooting.

There’s going to be a massive lawsuit against the school and administrators. Staff warned administrators multiple times the day of the shooting they the kid was fighting other kids, telling kids he had a gun, and was going to start shooting people. Admins never fully searched the kid. There were three separate warnings to school admins that day.

One staff member asked admins for permission to search the kid but was denied because….and I quote….”don’t bother because the school day is almost over”. He shot the teacher an hour later.

School board is holding a vote this afternoon to vote on firing the schools superintendent.
