I spent a few days in Puerto Vallarta a while back. I stayed on my resort (which really wasn't that fancy) except for one trip to play golf. It was the only time on the trip I used my credit card. About a month later, there were about $2000 worth of charges on it from Costco in Mexico. Shoutout to Citi for cancelling the charges and not making me pay it and not making me jump through a million hoops to get it taken care of. But frick that country and all the sketchy shite that goes on there.

Also few years ago they had shootings at a packed night club in Cancun. Makes 'Scarface' look like a Disney movie.

Not even the fact that you can fall victim under a hijacking targeting only tourists.
