People don't realize this. The Browns probably saved a lot of GMs jobs by taking bad QBs before other teams had a chance to over the past decade and a half or so.

Nah. Megatron and Joe Thomas were sure fire, can’t miss guys by everyone’s measure. Nobody thought Russel was that; high ceiling, low floor.
