He was widely known to be a lazy dunce and only Al Davis takes him anywhere near that high. Listening to him speak at that age, no sane man thought he could lead an NFL team. His interview on the sidelines of that LSU/tOSU Sugar Bowl with Troy Smith was a perfect representation of his inadequacies.

Holy 20/20 hindsight Batman several analysts said he had the most impressive pro day they’d ever seen. There were some thst raised questions about his work ethic and passion for the game burn No one thought the Raiders were reaching and everyone else was going to pass.
