Who would root for Georgia?
me.

I know the SEC is typically the strongest football conference and I root for all SEC schools in their bowl games.

Far too many on this board have tunnel vision, where all they see is purple and gold. Could UGA winning another NC hurt LSU? Nah, the entire world already knows UGA is a national powerhouse, and winning or losing to TCU won't move that needle much at all. The world already knows.

I'm proud LSU plays in the SEC, and I want the SEC to dominate teams from other conferences. Why do you think the SEC's TV contract is so huge, or why so many SEC teams end up in big bowl games?

So yea, I'm a UGA fan tonight. Proudly so.

BS , facts prove otherwise. I suppose you followed this same "SEC homer logic" and rooted for Alabama in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 ? Every kid growing up playing football has witnessed ALA's domination over the last 15 yrs. By the time they reach HS, these young adults are conditioned to WINNING Championships and playing on Sundays. Most of the 4 and 5 star recruits have ALA in their final list of schools. ALA has dominated NSD and played in 6 of the last 8 NC games.

So, UGA winning another NC will definitely begin a trend in recruiting just like ALA did 15 yrs ago.

I hope and pray you still don't root for ALA when they play in bowl games and NC games.
