Define the actual risk if you’re capable of doing so without being condescending.
Telling someone they don’t know to seek therapy on an anonymous message board is a little weird.

It’s literally the murder capital of the country and sometimes 911 goes to voicemail. If the cops do actually answer the phone it takes minimum average of 3 hours for them to respond on a good day. If they do respond it’s usually just to write a report and move on.
If by some miracle they actually catch the perp theres a better than 50% chance he’s out on minimal bail within the same day and doesn’t show back up to court.
If he does show back up to court the DA seeks minimum charges and sloppily prosecutes the case and then if he is convicted the mayor shows up to his sentencing hearing asking for leniency from the judge.
Those things are facts. It’s every bit as bad as it seems and it’s just getting started.
