yeah ours has been jumped by 3 dogs in our apartment complex because people refuse to put them on a leash - 1 time my wife was bit 3 times on the leg - i was out of town.
so happy to get moved into our new house with a fenced yard so she wont have to deal with that crap anymore.
back to the OP - i bet it is a nail issue
