why is WG not giving Dyson more minutes?

Coach Green is old school in that he not only makes players earn minutes but is hesitant to take away minutes, particularly in the first half of the season. We saw this last year with Temple and Sato. Dyson is contending for minutes with CJ, Devonte, Naji, Jose, Herb and TM3.

I believe this month will help clear up the log jam concerning rotational minutes heading into the playoff positioning push. Just my opinion, but I believe Herb absolutely remains a starter, he generates more offense than realized with his defense that kick-starts the Pels transition game and off-ball movement in offensive sets.

Shamit made a good point about Herb as a starter. Zion being replaced by BI (hopefully soon) gives you another shooter making Herb easier to integrate into the offense.
