why couldn't miles see this coming???

I mean everyone on here just knows we have horible def coor right??? I mean all you guys go to practice everyday right?? Miles could get anybody he wants but goes with 2 postion coaches that have done a decent job in recent years (special teams notwithstanding), He (miles) trusted and believed in thease 2 guys on a national championship team with HIS FUTURE on the line. If they were going to screw up this bad like all of us are saying, why could he not see this coming when it is so important to his future????
I am hoping the intensity is there and coverage problems are fixed.
And i think they will.

-This season's team is not a national championship team.
- Les Miles future, one year removed from a BCS championship and his team currently 6-2, is not "on the line".

dreaux, I've brought this up several times. There is a limit on the number of coaches a team can have, and it is set at 10.
Miles has 5 on offense, himself, and 4 left for defense. Instead, he hired Robinson to replace Pelini's spot to serve as special teams coach. This move left no room for another coach, so thus the promotion. It was also done, because Miles didn't want to hurt feelings of his friends in Mallory and Peveto.
Was it a mistake? Likely so, but the only other option was to either NOT hire Robinson or fire an offensive assisant. The latter would never happen given the offensive success the year before.
Overall, Miles put himself in a horrible position, and it is costing the team this year, and likely will next year. Even if he brings in a proven DC, it will take time to transition to their system.

people on here seem so worried about spelling that they don't even comment on the topic! I make just as many spelling errors as anyone else and I cam promise you that NO ONE on this board blows me away with their brainpower so just do everyone a favor and STFU when it comes to spelling! People are trying to get their posts in as fast as possible because if it isn't posted within 3 seconds of the 1st post then some a-hole ranter will call them german! so lets just give the spelling shite a rest damn it!
