The thing about using both of them is that, like others in this thread have said, they have complementary styles.

Daniels is so electric with the ball in his hands, you really get tempted to explore using both of them at the same time. Stand them next to each other in the shotgun and the defense will have no idea what to defend. Put Daniels in motion and anything can happen.

Those two passes Nabers threw yesterday, Daniels can throw.

Denbrock can get super-creative with assets like that. We should stop thinking of the QB room as a controversy and start looking at it as a lethal weapon.

Hopefully we can teach Nuss to run more and JD to pass more. Either way JDs last year so Nuss needs real game experience to prepare and I was stunned JD was able to play all the games this year. This will end the stack the box bullshite, plus as a bonus will drive Nick nuts

Have them stand next to each other and have the center snap it to one of them then have that one hand the ball off to the other one who would then drop into the pocket to throw a pass or take off running while the other one becomes a blocker for him and then maybe slips out for a pass. We could run some never before seen type offenses with both quarterbacks in the Huddle every play. A good OC could get very creative with this. Defenses would never know what the hell was going on. It would be a true dual quarterback system with dual quarterbacks on practically every play.

I like the idea, especially putting both out there at the same time. Teams would never know what’s about to come at them!
