Yeah, that's silly. But, there is a lot of emotion involved, and this is the kind of thing that comes out of it.

Understood but unfortunately society seems to like to make decisions based on emotion lately. I would be willing to bet an electrician is much more “putting his life on the line” to do his job than a NFL football player is and at the end of the day society actually needs electricians.
