A few years ago they were peddling some study saying “Louisiana has more homicides because of lax gun laws”. Of course when you drill down on the data you see the outlier of NOLA, BR, and Shreveport pushing those homicide numbers outside the norms. It never occurred to them why those supposed lax gun laws weren’t contributing to increased homicide rates in say St Tammany parish as opposed to Orleans parish.
