We should have bulked him up to 240 from day 1 and ran him as a hybrid TE. I always thought that was the plan.

Same. But BK needs TE to do some blocking down around the line. Not just out in soace when te/hybrid is flexed out.

I dont have a problem with Bech, and not going to bother enumerating missed opportunities he had from this past season. But you know what this statement is missing? Personal accountability.

He would be grossly inferior at TE than what we had. Same with OT. He’s a WR.

I agree but this is not what he wanted. He has said from Day 1 and on that interview that his best position his WR.

But I also believe if he added weight to get to 235-240 he would have been an absolute stud at the Tight end Spot. But I wish him the best and hope he sees a lot of success at the WR spot at TCU.
