He absolutely had a role with even an average passing QB. See last year’s team.

He’s never going to be the receiver streaking downfield at this level.

Bech has a tweener body type. Not a complete tightend and doesn't have the size or speed to be a major threat on the outside. He's a solid slot/possession type receiver. Once Boutte moved to the slot, he lost a lot of playing time.

He was fun to watch in '21 because he brought a lot of energy. I wish him all the best.

How many drops/ targets Bech had vs Boutte? Boutte absolutely pulled up on catches to avoid contact while Bech took hits to make catches.

I just wished BK would have put Boutte out there to receive punts and KOs so that the playing field was even.

One more thing about Bech, he never acted like a little bitch when he wasn't being targeted.
