If we can get a few of our other guys back he may need to take some games off and rest

Teams leaving him wide open behind the arc and him still missing is painful but all his other intangibles make up for it by a wide margin. His shots will start falling again and teams will have to put a man out on him. Lanes will open back up and old Jose will be back

He is getting enough playing time now that teams are starting to scout him. He is no longer catching teams off guard and teams are playing to his tendencies.

He is still a young NBA player. So the next part of his development is figuring out counters to what teams are doing to him.

Something else I've noticed is that while he is a pesky defender, teams are really starting to attack him on defense; especially in the pick & roll. They are putting him in p&r situations with average to terrible big defenders in Zion and Jonas. We are switching those matchups and are faced with Zion or Jonas having to defend on the perimeter or Jose on a much bigger player.
