I got some Danner lace ups like these and they are super comfortable and warm. If I can be slightly critical of them, the tread on the sole wore down pretty quick, but I've been wearing them for everything in the cold. I weld, cut trail, hunt, hike and everything in them.

I have some highhtop Danners as well. I am assuming it is something ergonomically with me but they kill my Achilles after a day or two of hiking in them. I have some midtop Columbia's that I switch to and I don't have the same problem. Need to get it figured out and either order some new boots or start hiking differently before next fall.

I just bought a pair of these yesterday and really like them so far. Super comfortable.
