I have a simple/dumb question. I bought some LSU car flags for my vehicle. The bottom of the flags hit my truck when i'm driving on the interstate and it's just really loud. It sounds like it's raining outside, lol. Are their any tips on preventing this or helping this? Should I just get a taller pole and if so where??

They won't do that once they are broken in.

The answer... Fly those suckers until they soften up and it should rid the problem!

I will be flyin' mine down I-10 tomorrow on my way to B.R..

Ok, Do you think if I put them in the dryer for awhile that would help?

I would love to drive from work in Austin to Lake Charles tommorrow with my flags up.

This is why we bought the wind socks for the vehicle. No noise!

Put them all the way to the back of the window.

Some flags have heavier hems and stitching..the ones I have hit the car and I worry about the paint job.

I only use the ones that are light on the edges. They unravel and get ragged on the edges quicker though.

I'm not sure I'd put them in the dryer. As another poster said, put them all the way to the back of the window.

Fly em till they start to come undone and if you listen good enough you might hear the LSU fight song!

Yeah, I was worried about the paint job too. But, that's the sacrifice of war.
