Willie Sims was introduced before the game as part of the starters--all 6 of them. Willie was sent in at the 5 minute mark and as previously stated, the crowd went crazy cheering.
The 1981 team was an exciting team to watch with fantastic nicknames.

Sid Crocker was terrific announcing the lineups and he always introduced Willie as the " Best 6th man in all of college basketball." Those were great times for the loyal basketball fans who were there during the Incredible Climb to the Top.
