Why should i give my tax dollars to a notoriously corrupt country?
Let me pose it another way.
If your house was being robbed daily, and your boyfriend & adopted children were being terrorized because of it.
And your political leaders were spending YOUR tax dollars for upgraded security in neighborhoods that are 200 miles away from you…. You would be cool with that??

The corruption in Ukraine was from when the Russians were still in charge over there.
Since the Ukranians took over they have been changing the laws, strengthening the cops/prosecutors and chasing down the crooks.
Ukraine is a wonderful country that I have spent quite some time in and you would be surprised how much you like it. Some guys somehow Putin because he talks tough like Trump, is acutally like Trump and because Russians look a little bit like some here in the USA "we need more of that". That kind of thinking shows and incredible lack of understanding of that part of the world.
