coax/ethernet use

My house is 20+ years old. I had it wired for cable TV and used satellite until i started streaming a few years ago. did not have the foresight to wire for ethernet.
I do have coax running from the area right by the modem and have just installed a mesh system (2 story house). I'm getting fairly good speeds upstairs but was wondering if there is a way to use the coax cables to establish a point upstairs? is that just stupid? was thinking there might be an adapting connector but have no idea if the signal works w/ coax. sorry for my dumbassery in advance

I just set this up at my house last week using the Actiontech 2.5-2.5 version of the adapters mentioned earlier so I could use my gigabit internet speed in my upstairs office. Set up was just plug it in & got 900mbs up/down right away.
