My mom gave me a jar of homemade fig preserves and I don’t really eat fig preserves. Is there a way I could turn them into fig pepper jelly?

Jelly is made from juice, so I'd say you would have a difficult time getting any volume of something that resembles jelly.

Fig preserve pretty much is jelly, you can simply emulsify the fruit and roll with adding your pepper portion…nothings going to not make it taste like figs though.

I roughly cut up preserves and make fig tarts, you can see how candied the inside of the figs are (I drained liquid to get this consistency):

Cut them up and make some fruit and nut (pecan) bread…give it to your family for Christmas. Ha.

Will swap satsumas for your jar of figs.
