re: Why did kids stop getting action figures?

This was all we needed growing up. We would split them up 50/50, go on opposite sides of the kitchen, and go to war taking turns with either a rubber band or metal ball.

The question was always, do you line your guys up and hope they can't score a direct hit or spread them out and know they're likely gonna do damage on a bunch of throws...
