How does someone know if cops are entering illegally? Say they have a warrant? You can yell you have a warrant but what if person inside doesn’t hear you?

Try knocking a few times, and blasting it from a megaphone if you have to. Unless the person is deaf, you’ll convince a jury you gave the tenant notice.
But, unless it’s a SWAT raid on a hostage crisis, no knock raids should not be allowed.

I never really understood the logic behind raiding houses like that.
You know where they are obviously. Unless someone is in danger inside the home, just stake them out and wait for them to leave. Box them in and arrest them there instead of endangering other people in house
