re: Dog had a seizure -- any experience with treatment?

I agree- supposed to leave them alone and comfort after. If epileptic, which one of my dogs was, I would watch to make sure she wasn't hurt. Sometimes the seizures were violent. She was on phenobarbital her whole life.

My min pin/dachsund mix has them sporadically. Even went so far as to do a brain MRI. Vet occasionally gives him a steroid but basically they happen so sporadically, that he is not on anything.
