I’m so glad this was on page 1. I’m typing this right now at 12:45am because I can’t sleep. Torn rotator cuff surgery exactly 31 days ago. It’s been a bitch. I have nothing to offer other than to let you know that it’s obviously a very slow recovery. I feel like I’m making progress but I MAY get 4-5 hours of sleep per night. I’ll be watching this thread for some info about when the pain, even minor, eventually stops altogether. Good luck.

Torn rotator cuff surgery, 31 days later, I was well past any significant pain. Had started PT by the 3rd week & my range of motion had already started to improve. But it took a full 4-5 mths post surgery. to be considered back to normal. There are some PT acts that can be down at home, just no "lifting" every day, as those muscles need time to rest. Bur ROM can be done every day. I ended up stripping down my sling to where it was basically holding up my arm, not strapped to my side. Sleep was a bitch, no real way to get around it.
