What size SD card would you recommend for a switch?

Long story short I gave my switch away to this kid a couple years ago

Decided to pick an OLED model yesterday and get back into gaming now that college football is almost over

I have a few games that I need to redownload and I know what I currently have in my library definitely won't fit without an SD card

I'd like to "future proof" it and have enough storage where I don't need to swap out cards

I was thinking the 512 would be more than enough for this purpose. I don't mind deleting a game and redownloading once every blue moon but I'd like to be able to keep ~20 games on console at once

The games seems to be pretty small in size compared to Xbox and PS FWIW. Like I don't think they have a ton of games that are over 15-20GB

256 will get you quite a bit but i think how much run you get out of it will depend on whether you will be buying physical copies of any games. If you buy physical titles for the AAA games then you'll really be comfortable at 256

I think the biggest game I own is witcher III which is probably around 30GB. Games like breath of the Wild fall into the 10-15gb range I think. Som of the other bigger nintendo titles probably fall in the 5-10gb range. However a lot of games are not even 1gb
