He had a higher completion percentage than Nuss on about the same number of attempt (and that was before Georgia was up 25 points and we’re still playing aggressively on defense).

So one of two things are true here.

Either our receivers did drop some catchable passes from both QBs

Or

Both QBs are about the same in accuracy (JD technically being slightly better)

That's like having two basketball players and telling one to do 100 lay ups and the other take 100 three points shots, then comparing their shooting %. It really is. Holy fk dude. I get you love you some JD. But at least be halfway logical.
