Get rid of sales people completely.
The idea they get to sit around and try to screw people all day is pathetic. Cars are a necessity…regardless of the niceties some have.
When I bought my car in 2021, I knew exactly what I wanted. Tried to go directly to the manufacturer, that's when I found out LA (an many other States) actually require you to go through a dealership. Therefore, you will never be able to get rid of the sales people.
Ended up having to pay an extra $1k delivery fee to have the car redirected from a MS store to the LA dealership by me; still bought off the truck and drove off the lot with 7 miles on it
