When I saw Andruw Jones fall off in his later years, I started to have the sneaky suspicion he wasn't actually 19 when he said he was 19....

Perhaps. But if that wasn’t his real age it couldn’t have been far off. He looked 15 in the 1996 World Series.

Ironically, Andruw Jones would probably have a lot more HOF support if he lied about his age. A guy who made it to the majors at age 23, had ten great seasons, and then had his performance fall off a cliff at age 34 would have been a lot more acceptable than a player whose career collapsed at age 30.
