No one will pay for it for insulin resistance, impaired fasting glucose, or obesity. The coupon card has been changed because it became so popular so fast.


Your insurance company doesn’t care about preventing diabetes or maintaining a healthy weight, or really your healthcare at all if it doesn’t save them a dime, so they probably aren’t going to pick it up for those indications for several years, unfortunately.

I’ve had some patients ask me to just say they have diabetes and write it for them. I’m like ma’am that’s insurance fraud and I ain’t doing that

Im on Ozempic. Not diabetic or pre-diabetic, insurance covers my scrip. Doctor was shocked.
