Part of the problem is people just aren't interested though. I mean they are in theory but how many of those upset will volunteer to help next election cycle? How many are interested in knowing the full system ins and outs? It's unfortunate but most folks don't care. Which i think is why you it's not as transparent and laid out as everyone wants.
Arizona offers like email and text updates on ballot status as well as provide a voter portal with information.

There are other procedures around tabulation and adjudication paperwork as well and machine testing pre and post count. Most of that is available for live stream by the county board of supervisors. As well as access to reports and the paperwork trails.

Spot on man. That bugged us the most. All the conjecture and complaining but we couldn't couldn't get a single person to read the election code.
Legit things we could have been talking about when we had an audience with the SOS, wasted.

Louisiana is statewide the same, so that was another nice feature. Learn it once and you are good.

Thats the part that potentially matters the most. Hopefully paperwork is available that independently verifies the machine work.
