Kings and Nobles in Europe gave the task of lending and borrowing money to Jewish merchants/bankers. their cutthroat practice of getting back every penny via usury was one of the main reasons the common citizens started feeling antagonistic.

this went on for centuries, it didn't just spark out of nowhere. Jews in Europe were also very clannish and even though they were minorities, they usually possessed vast amounts of wealth. even so more than the royals and nobles they served. a lot of people owed them money.

OK, the responses here were excellent and in tune with my research.

Conclusuon: There are some deep rooted feelings about Jewish people...and it appears they will never go away. World history tells us these types of deeply imbedded issues are omnipresent. So be it.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Usury
Judaism allows it, and Christianity and Islam does not. This allows advantages in control over society, which leads to jealousy/agitation.
