I did for around a decade. My psych got a position with LSU about 7 years ago so now I just go to my GP for refills once a year. I've been on the same medication for about 12 years with no issues. I've tried to ween myself off but came to realize it's for the best that I keep taking it.

I look at it like maintaining a vehicle. Can some people handle all of the maintenance on their car? Sure. There are some people who don't possess all the tools to fix any problem on their car, that's when it's helpful to go get some maintenance every once in awhile.
