I'd shy away from doing burgers on it unless you use a griddle, the flare up problems are pretty bad with burgers, even with a grease pan on the heat deflector.
I was sort of hoping to get rid of my Weber gas grill just due to space constraints. I guess youre saying id need both?
I honestly rarely cook burgers. More chicken, kabobs, grilled vegetables, etc. Think it would work of for that with the occasional smoked burger?

I have both, when I first got my Bullseye I'd say I was almost 100% only using it to smoke, everything else went on my gas grill.
I've had my Bullseye for about 2 years now, I don't think I've turned my gas grill on in 5-6 months, everything is done on the Bullseye once I figured out exactly how to use it at higher temps without setting my patio on fire.
