Where did the $150,000 figure Auburn is rumored to have offered Darron Reed come from?
Tweets from insiders? Who actually wrote this $ amount?
Surely it was reported specifically by somebody, right?
Where has it been seen other than TD?
Not just somebody "close to a program".
Seriously, I'm not big on twitter and haven't seen it anywhere.

Recruiting insiders know this kind of stuff. The figure may be off a bit either way but it was made clear a few days before that Auburn was offering more than we would be willing to go. Many call us poor, I tend to call us buying smart. Kid flipped to a school with no coach. Based on that evidence, whether really indicative or not, would you pony up 150 grand for a kid with those decision making skills?

150k isn't even that much for a recruit.

He lives less than an hour from Auburn. Their big money NIL guys were holding back bc they hated Harsin so much. They are sucking in recruiting right now so what better to do than to throw sone money around.

As a signing bonus for a high upside, low floor guy with obvious great decision makers in his corner, it seems like a lot to me.

Yes definitely life changing money and going to a stable program. Great decision makers in his corner. Absolutely love the move. Makes a lot of sense

Auburn has 13 million in their NIL Collective Fund.

Ole Miss has 11 million.

ATM has 20 million.

LSUs goal is to get to 15 million for their fund. NIL is not a problem.

One poster mentioned it, but LSU is going to be precise in their usage of money. They will show their teeth for the recruits that they absolutely want/need. LSU is not a fan of spending excessive money on a guys that probably aren’t worth it.

Ricks, Harbor, Toviano, Akana, Smith, and Jordan Hall are the guys they are going to try to close with.

The 150,000 is the amount that Reed could make in his first full year with Auburn. A little insight from NIL is that teams will pay like 30,000-100,000 (depending on caliber of player) for someone to commit to their school. Once they commit to that said school, they will promise a higher amount once they fully enroll on their first year of campus. Some recruits try to commit and then decommit to get more money to commit back *cough cough* Bravion Rodgers.
So the 150,000 number is the amount that I heard Reed could make once he fully enrolls on campus throughout his first year.

My source is from someone close with the program. You know I can’t tell you specifically about the source like a name or else I could lose my source, but just know Auburn is spending big time right now.

Also, Damathe I hope we can get along better. I apologize for upsetting you.

Is the Oaks and the donate by win considered LSU's collective or are they going to launch a separate collective for small donors?
